Welded Gabions Mesh

Welded mesh gabions are manufactured from Square Or Rectangular Mesh. A welded gabion incorporates a more rigid welded mesh facing panel construction. The benefits of a welded gabion are in land based retaining structures, feature wall cladding, Noise / Sound Barriers, Seating in Parks & other landscape features where clean straight, architectural lines of the welded mesh panels & better aesthetics are required.

Applications

Welded Mesh Gabions that look very attractive in landscape applications. They can be used to construct large retaining structures.Gabions Sets are supplied flat packed and are assembled on site using lacing wire or spiral joiners. Sometimes if the project is significant we would recommend High Tensile "C" rings (Staples) as per EN 10223 using a pneumatic stapling tool that can be supplied by us.Welded mesh gabions are available in a number of wire diameters to suit the application or can be manufactured in a combination of mesh-wire specifications to suit client specifications. The mesh can be specified as either Galfan coated or Galfan coated with an external organic polymer powder (PVC) coating, as required by design.

Wire Sizes : Galvanized / Galfan Coated 2.7 to 5mm
Additional Organic Polymeric coating can be offered for added corrosion protection.
Tensile Strength (wire): Welded: 540 to 770 N/mm²
Weld Strength: 75% of the minimum ultimate tensile strength of the wire
Conformance: EN 10223-8
